Student Experience Blog Post

I'm currently enrolled at UWGB Sheboygan Campus. I live in a small town in Sheboygan, Wisconsin where I love the wilderness and outdoors.

My first-year experience at UWGB is great so far. I've come to learn that my professors are very kind, caring, and understanding making my college experience an easy-going. Another thing that I enjoy about my school is that the campus is full of diversity and creativity. Not only are the students from all over the country but I've met others including my professors that have come from outside the country as well. It's very nice as I feel that it goes to show that the University of Green Bay welcomes everyone no matter color diversity, age, gender, and cultural background. My advisor typically encourages us to join clubs and meet others within the campus. Even reach out to others, especially your professors if you're falling behind. Most professors that I've had are very understanding and willing to push assignment dates for you depending on circumstances. Last thing, I've enjoyed was making a new friend this year. She's the sweetest person on earth and very smart.
